  • The 5th anniversary of the September 11th attacks
  • Brit has boy number 2
  • Who's a better dancer Emmitt or Mario?
  • Whitney dumps Bobby
  • The remarkable Ann Richards passes away
  • I help in baby girl's 1st grade class
  • Segregated "Survivor" premieres

I still find it challenging to enter a classroom of lil tikes. Kudos to you.

ps. I tried commenting on your last post, but beta blogger was a booger and would not budge.

The beta blogger does not like blogger accounts. I had to use my gmail/google account. Weird!

Thanks Lyle for pushing through and getting the comments - I've noticed I have a similar problem when I try to comment on legacy blogs now. I've logged a bug to see if the blogger kids can fix it.

I love helping in the kids classes, particularly the younger ones. Today, I was responsible for supervising the coloring of a huge thank you card the kids had made for one of the mothers who donated a new rug to the class. We had a blast - several of the kids mentioned what they wanted to be when they grow up - the predominant profession of choice was (drum roll)

teacher.
Specifically art teacher. Funny how when we're coloring and making little drawings, we all want to do it for ever, and teach others to do it too.

P.S. I checked the "can't comment" from a traditional blogger account issue and it's know already and they're working on a fix. The workaround is to "preview" the comment before posting it. That should work.

Have you ever seen Pres. Monson like that? He's always been a little witty but Sunday he was hillarious! I thought my boys were going to wet there pants when he wiggled his ears! Great conference. Glad I could go.

I confess that was a first. I heard several people afterward express surprise and delight.

I loved the ear thing - it was awesome. And I feel for everyone who missed it since the camera crew chose that precise moment to pan to the audience for the telecast which went out to all the Stake Centers.

Elder Monson is truly one of my favorites (I know we're not supposed to have them). And I echo a comment cjane made on Tuesday - I know he was called of God and that even when being "funny" his messages are sure. - Amen to that cjane, Amen.

P.S. Cari - I got to work with Max yesterday too. He's great, just great!
